Pre-K Program

Why Little Saints at Father James B. Hay?

We will help your “Little Saints” grow and develop!

Love Learning New Things

Our teachers encourage laughter and sharing while children develop a love for learning that we believe endures for years to come.

Learn with the Best Teachers

We believe our preschool teachers are the most nurturing educators in the area.

Build a Strong Foundation

Day by day, our incredibly dedicated teachers work with your young child to methodically develop and then gradually strengthen a solid and lasting foundation of knowledge, imagination, and self-confidence.

Be More than Just Another Student

Our teachers and staff will know your child’s name, their budding learning style, and their unique personality.  We will engage them daily with focused expertise, unwavering commitment, and genuine love.

Little Saints Pre-K 3 Curriculum

The program for our three year-olds will be flexible to allow for a variety of scheduling choices for parents.  Our three year olds will use Seton Book’s Pre-K curriculum for religion. This program will help 3 year olds understand that God created them and made them good, happy, active, and special.  Religion will be taught on a daily basis.

The Pre-K 3 curriculum will provide hands-on learning that will prepare children for school success.  Activities will enhance a child’s early educational development and will include craft and learning activities that help preschoolers understand numbers, letters, colors, and shapes.  Children will enjoy poems, books, stories, games, finger-plays, arts and crafts, science projects, and physical activities.

Little Treasure Pre-K 4 Curriculum

Our program for four year-olds integrates social, personal, and emotional development, oral language development, early literacy skills, and a love of literature, physical development and movement, health and safety, math, science, social studies, and art.  The Little Saints reading program builds a strong phonemic awareness as well as introduces students to the relationship between letters and sounds.  In addition, religion is taught every day.   They visit our library one day a week and also receive music instruction weekly.
